Generally silk upholstery can be cleaned with a soft cloth dipped in a solution of cold water and mild laundry detergent such as woolite. Be sure that you rinse the area clean as well using clean warm water and patting or sponging it into the stained area. Be careful not to over wet the upholstery if you do use the blow dryer on no heat setting most dryers have a button for this. Although it is durable silk is also quite delicate.
If dirt seeps into the fibers of the silk it can become embedded which will cause a great deal of damage to your piece. Start from the edges of the stain and slowly move to the centre of the area.
